Cambodian NA President Receives a Delegation of Vietnam Fatherland Front

Vietnam has considered strengthening the ties of friendship and cooperation with Cambodia as a prioritised and most important point.

The remarks were made by H.E. Tran Thanh Man, President of the Vietnam Fatherland Front (VFF) Central Committee, while paying a courtesy call on Samdech Ponhea Chakrei Heng Samrin, President of the National Assembly (NA) of Cambodia, yesterday at the NA Palace, Phnom Penh.

On the occasion, H.E. Tran Thanh Man thanked Samdech Heng Samrin for his strong attention to build up friendship and cooperation between Cambodia and Vietnam both in the past and at the present. He also spoke highly of the development in all sectors that Cambodia and Cambodian people have gained so far, especially in terms of economy, political stability and peace.

For his part, Samdech Heng Samrin expressed warm welcome to the VFF delegation, underlining that their visit has contributed to further tightening and expanding the traditional friendship, solidarity and cooperation in all domains between both countries, particularly between the two Fronts, as well as to the success the 5th International Conference of the Front of Cambodia and Vietnam.
