Cambodian NA’s Reaction against Cambodian-born Australian MP

The spokesperson of the National Assembly of Cambodia reacted against the Cambodian-born Australian MP for Victoria Mr. Hong Lim who told Radio Free Asia recently that Cambodian people are living in a “beast” condition.

“This is a very dark view of Mr. Hong Lim which is totally wrong. This comment is a serious insult to the whole Cambodian nation,” said the spokesperson in a press release made public yesterday evening.

This is unacceptable as the world has seen clearly the progress in Cambodia under the wise leadership of Prime Minister Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen, and thanks to his Win Win policy, the Kingdom has been enjoying peace and stability over the past 23 years, underlined the spokesperson.

The NA spokesperson thus categorically rejected Mr. Hong Lim’s comment and demanded a public apology to the Cambodian nation.
