Cambodian National Cyclists to Join Two Competitions in Thailand

Eleven (11) Cambodian sports delegates and athletes will join two competitions in Phichit province of Thailand.

The update was shared by Mr. Nou Chamroeun, Secretary General of the Cambodia Cycling Federation (CCF), adding that the Cambodian sports delegation led by Mr. Pheng Polin is expected to depart Phnom Penh for the competitions on Feb. 25.

One of the competitions is Union Cycliste Nationale (UCI) level C to take place on Mar. 1-2 and another is MTB Thailand National championship to happen from Mar. 4 to 5, 2023.

Participating countries in the tournament are Cambodia, Malaysia, Indonesia, the Philippines, Japan, S. Korea, China, France, Germany and U.S.A., he said.

The events will be a good opportunity for Cambodian cyclists not only to save score for Asian Games and Olympic Games, but also to draw experience and improve their capacity for the 32nd SEA Games in Cambodia in May 2023.
