Cambodian PM and S. Korean President Have Dinner Together

Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia, and his spouse have organised a family dinner reception with visiting President of the Republic of Korea H.E. Moon Jae-in and his spouse.

The reception took place yesterday at The Great Duke Hotel (InterContinental) in Phnom Penh, according to the official Facebook page of Samdech Techo Hun Sen.

H.E. Moon Jae-in and his spouse arrived in Phnom Penh on Thursday afternoon for a three-day state visit in Cambodia.

This morning, the South Korean President was received in a royal audience by His Majesty Preah Bat Samdech Preah Boromneath Norodom Sihamoni, King of Cambodia.

According to the schedule, H.E. Moon Jae-in will hold a bilateral meeting with Prime Minister Samdech Techo Hun Sen before noon and attend the Cambodia-Republic of Korea Business Forum to encourage greater investment, trade and economic exchange between the two countries.

This is H.E. Moon Jae-in's first visit to Cambodia. He is the third South Korean President who paid a state visit to the Kingdom. H.E. Roh Moo-hyun, who led the Republic of Korea between 2003 and 2008, visited the country in November 2006, then H.E. Lee Myung-bak, Korean President from 2008-2013, came to Cambodia twice - the first time was the state visit in October 2009, and the second was to attend the ASEAN Summit and Related Summits in November 2012.
