Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia, arrived at Zurich Airport in Switzerland on May 21 afternoon (Zurich time).
As planned, Samdech Techo Hun Sen will meet with Cambodian compatriots living in Switzerland and other European countries in the evening of the same day.
After that, the Premier will leave for Davos-Klosters to attend the World Economic Forum (WEF) Annual Meeting 2022 to be held in on May 22-26, at the invitation of Prof. Klaus Schwab, WEF Founder and Executive Chairman.
According to a press release of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, the WEF Annual Meeting 2022 will be themed “Preparing for the Post-COVID era”,
During the forum, Samdech Techo Hun Sen will deliver substantive remarks at the Closing Ceremony of the Discussion with Stakeholder under the theme “Strategic Outlook on ASEAN”, and at the Informal Gathering of World Economic Leaders’ Lunch-Restoring Peace and Order.
On the sidelines of the Forum, Samdech Techo Prime Minister is also expected to have meetings with leaders of some countries as well as received courtesy calls from world political and business figures.
During his stay in Switzerland, Samdech Techo Prime Minister Hun Sen will deliver an opening speech at the CAMBODIA NIGHT, an event sponsored by WorldBridge Group to promote foreign businesses in Cambodia.
