Cambodian PM Begins His Working Visit in Moscow

The high level Cambodian delegation led by Prime Minister Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen arrived in Moscow, the capital of Russia, this morning for a working visit.

"I finally arrived in Moscow after traveling the whole night. According to the schedule, I'll hold bilateral talks with the Russian Prime Minister at noon (local time), or 4:00 pm time in Cambodia. Today, I'll have a full schedule and tomorrow, I'll meet Cambodian students in Russia before leaving for Sochi to attend the ASEAN-Russia Commemorative Summit," the Cambodian premier wrote on his Facebook page.

During this working visit, eight important documents will be signed to strengthen the cooperation between the Royal Government of Cambodia and the Government of Russia, Delegate Minister Attached to the Prime Minister H.E. Sry Thamrong told reporters before the departure of the Cambodian delegation.

Those documents include the Treaty on Extradition, Memorandum of Understanding on Cooperation between the Cambodian Ministry of Justice and the Office of the Prosecutor General of the Russian Federation, Memorandum of Understanding on Telecommunication and IT Cooperation, Memorandum of Understanding on Cooperation between the National Olympic Committee of Cambodia and the Russian Federation, Joint Declaration on Cooperation Proposals in the fields of trade, economy, investment until 2020, Memorandum of Understanding on the Establishment of Nuclear Information Center, Memorandum of Understanding on the Establishment of Cambodia-Russia Joint Working Group on Cooperation in Nuclear Applications for Peaceful Purposes, Agreement on Cooperation between the Ministry of Interior of Cambodia and the Russian Federation, said the delegate minister.
