Cambodian PM Confirms Good Health after Returning from Special ASEAN Summit in Indonesia

Prime Minister Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen this morning confirmed that his health remains good, after 4 days of quarantine upon his return from the ASEAN Leaders’ Meeting in Jakarta, Indonesia on April 24, 2021.
“Yesterday, I sent a voice message to Samdech Tea Banh (Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of National Defence) and H.E. Mrs. Or Vandine (Chairwoman of the Ad-hoc Commission for COVID-19 Vaccination) on the vaccination of people in the Red zones. Some of our compatriots found that I was very tired through my voice. I was truly tired, but not because of any disease. I was tired because I was speaking when doing bike workouts,” he explained in a Facebook post.
“My health condition is normal, but I feel a bit sad because I stay at home all alone, without my wife, my children, my grand-children, as I need to be under quarantine,” he said. “But, all national duties remain as usual without interruption.”
Samdech Techo Hun Sen returned home from the face-to-face ASEAN Leaders’ Meeting in Jakarta, Indonesia on April 24 evening.
