Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia, will consider the formation of a special lawyer group to protect the poor and vulnerable women.

According to a news shared on his official Facebook page after he presided over the Cambodian National Council for Women (CNCW)'s annual meeting this morning here at the Peace Palace, Samdech Techo Hun Sen said this lawyer group would be under his own personnel management in order to assist the vulnerable and poor women effectively.

At the same time, Samdech Techo Hun Sen encouraged the Ministry of Women's Affairs to cooperate with the Ministry of Justice to speed up the trial process and reduce the jail term for female prisoners, especially those facing challenges such as having children in charge, being divorced etc. without waiting for national festivals [] if possible before the coming Khmer Traditional New Year.
