Cambodian PM Meets Former Thai Counterpart

SamdechAkkaMohaSenaPadeiTecho Hun Sen, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia, received yesterday evening former Prime Minister of Thailand H.E. ChavalitYongchaiyudh and his family members.

The friendly and cordial meeting took place in Bangkok, Thailand after the Cambodian Premier’s arrival for the 8th Ayeyawady-Chao Phraya-Mekong Economic Cooperation Strategy Summit (8th ACMECS) and the 9th Cambodia-Lao PDR-Myanmar-Vietnam Summit (9th CLMV Summit).

According to his official Facebook page, SamdechTecho Hun Sen and H.E. ChavalitYongchaiyudh have been close friends for 30 years.

In the meeting, H.E. ChavalitYongchaiyudh congratulated Cambodia on its achievements and SamdechTecho Hun Sen on his leadership and good health.

For his part, SamdechTecho Hun Sen thanked H.E. ChavalitYongchaiyudh for his key role in coordinating for the peaceful negotiations between all political parties in Cambodia, which brought about peace to the whole nation
