Cambodian PM Receives New Malaysian Ambassador

Cambodia’s Prime Minister Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen received here this afternoon at the Peace Palace newly appointed Ambassador of Malaysia to Cambodia H.E. Dato’ Sri Hasan Malek.

According to H.E. Kao Kim Hourn, Delegate Minister Attached to the Prime Minister, H.E. Dato’ Sri Hasan Malek pledged to do his best to further expand the cooperation between Malaysia and Cambodia, particularly in the fields of investment, trade and people-to-people relations.

The new Malaysian diplomat also lauded the religious harmonization in Cambodia that not so many countries around the world can make it.

For his part, Samdech Techo Hun Sen expressed thanks to H.E. Dato’ Sri Hasan Malek’s good comments and his commitment during his diplomatic mission in Cambodia.

The Cambodian premier said Malaysia is similar to Cambodia, and the latter is now studying the former’s development experience.

Samdech Techo Hun Sen also recommended the Malaysian ambassador to work directly with members of the Royal Government of Cambodia to boost more bilateral cooperation between both nations.
