Cambodian PM Receives Three Chinese Companies

A delegation of three Chinese companies led by Neak Oknha Chen Zhi, Chairman of Prince Holding Group, paid here at the Peace Palace this morning a courtesy visit to Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia, to learn more about investment environment in the country.
According to H.E. Eang Sophalleth, Assistant to the Cambodian Premier, in the meeting, Neak Oknha Chen Zhi briefed Samdech Techo Hun Sen on the three companies’ business activities in the fields of industry, mines, infrastructure, real estate, trade, construction, logistics, and securities.
For his part, Samdech Techo Prime Minister informed his guests of the better investment environment in Cambodia thanks to peace and stability, the foundation for investment, and to new investment law which provides favourable conditions for investors.
The one-stop mechanism to facilitate and decide on investment projects, the authorisation to use other currencies for staff’s salaries and business transactions, and large young labour force are the key factors to improve the investment environment in the Kingdom, he added.
The Premier also advised the delegation to learn about investment direction in Cambodia from H.E. Sok Chenday Sophea, Minister Attached to the Prime Minister and Secretary General of the Council for the Development of Cambodia.
