Prime Minister Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen and his entourage arrived home this morning after concluding their overseas trips in Vietnam and the Philippines from Nov. 10 to 14.
They were welcomed upon arrival at Phnom Penh International Airport by Samdech Kralahom Sar Kheng, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior and many other high-ranking government officials.
In Vietnam, the Cambodian premier attended the Informal Dialogue between APEC and ASEAN Leaders, during which he called on the member states of the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) to accept the full membership of Cambodia, Laos, and Myanmar.
After that, Samdech Techo Hun Sen left for a visit in Pampanga province of the Philippines before continuing to Manila to take part in the 31st ASEAN Summit and Related Summits.
On his official Facebook page this morning, Samdech Techo Hun Sen said all the meetings concluded with fruitful results will bring about a lot of benefits to all the ASEAN nations, including the ASEAN Consensus on the Protection and Promotion of the Rights of Migrant Workers signed by the ASEAN leaders yesterday evening.
Besides, Samdech Techo Hun Sen held bilateral meetings with some world leaders to strengthen the relations and cooperation for the nation's interest.
The next ASEAN summit will be hosted by Singapore next year.
