Cambodian PM To Attend ASEAN-India Commemorative Summit in India Next Week

Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia, is going to attend the ASEAN-India Commemorative Summit to be held in India on Jan. 25 to celebrate the 25 years of partnership as well as to pay an official visit in the country.

The information was shared by Samdech Techo Hun Sen while holding a get-together with more than 4,600 members of Association of Informal Economy, at Koh Pich Convention and Exhibition Centre, Phnom Penh yesterday.

This will be a visit to a country with over 1.200 million population in Asia after the official visit to Cambodia by H.E. Li Keqiang, Prime Minister of China, a country with more than 1.300 million population, he said.

According to the Indian Ministry of External Affairs, ASEAN and India are observing 25 years of their Dialogue Partnership, 15 years of Summit Level interaction and 5 years of Strategic Partnership throughout 2017 uptil 2018 by undertaking a wide range of activities which would culminate in a Commemorative Summit on the theme Shared Values, Common Destiny.
