Cambodian PM To Preside Over the Celebration of 5 Year Anniversary of Minebea

Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia, will preside over the celebration of the five-year anniversary of the Japan-based Minebea Co., Ltd.’s operation in Cambodia.

The event is scheduled to take place on Dec. 8, 2016, H.E. Kao Kim Hourn, Delegate Minister Attached to the Prime Minister told reporters following the meeting between the Cambodian premier and newly appointed Japanese Ambassador to Cambodia H.E. Hidehisa Horinouchi, at the Peace Palace, Phnom Penh this morning.

Minebea established its first motor manufacturing plant in Cambodia on Dec. 19, 2011 with a total investment capital of 5 billion Yen (US$62.5 million).

The factory is situated on an area of 100,000 square meters in the Phnom Penh Special Economic Zone.
