Cambodian PM Underlines Stable Tax Income

Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia, has affirmed the stability of the national tax income.
Speaking at a graduation ceremony of Vanda Institute held here this morning, Samdech Techo Hun Sen said Cambodia’s monthly tax income is stable, at at least US$250 million.
“Until now, the total tax income of Cambodia has been achieved at 95 percent of the target stated in the budget law. In the first nine months of this year, the tax income has reached some US$3 billion”, he underlined.
Samdech Techo Hun Sen said with the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership (RCEP), Free Trade Agreement with China and Republic of Korea, the custom tax will drop while the internal tax will increase.
On the occasion, the Premier also encouraged and expressed his support for people, especially the students to run their own business.
