Cambodian Social Affairs Minister Visits Spain and Malta to Sign Agreements on Child Adoption

A high level Cambodian delegation of the Ministry of Social Affairs, Veterans and Youth Rehabilitation led by its Minister H.E. Vorng Saut left here on June 5 for Spain for a three-day visit, according to local media reports.

During his stay in Spain from June 6 to 8, H.E. Vorng Saut will sign an agreement related to child adoption and set the number of agencies to operate inter-country child adoption with his Spanish counterparts.

After Spain, the Cambodian minister will continue his trip to Malta for the same purpose.

So far, over 3,000 Cambodian children have been adopted by foreign parents.
