Cambodian Top Diplomat Meets Outgoing French Ambassador

Cambodian Senior Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation H.E. Prak Sokhonn received here yesterday outgoing Ambassador of France to Cambodia H.E. Jean-Claude Poimboeuf.

In the farewell meeting, H.E. Jean-Claude Poimboeuf expressed his condolences over the loss of four Cambodian peacekeepers in Central African Republic, and highly appreciated the progress of Cambodia during his three-year diplomatic mission, said H.E. Chhiv Yiseang, Under-Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation.

H.E. Jean-Claude Poimboeuf also re-affirmed his country’s same stance toward Cambodia despite new president, government and foreign minister.

For his part, H.E. Prak Sokhonn thanked profoundly France for her support to Cambodia and lauded the good cooperation between the two countries during H.E. Jean-Claude Poimboeuf’s diplomatic term.
