Cambodia’s Exports in Q1 on the Rise

Cambodia’s exports in the first three months of this year are on the rise, a significant move for the country’s economic growth.

The export of garment products was valued at US$3,155 million, up 24.8 percent compared to the same period last year, according to the report of the General Department of Customs and Excise, issued on April 12.

The non-garment exports rose by 38 percent to US$1,213 million, the report added.

The export of agricultural products was amounted to US$1,123 million, a year-on-year increase of 10 percent.
