Cambodia’s PM Receives Cambodian Students in Moscow

Prime Minister Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen in Moscow yesterday received about 400 Cambodian students under government scholarship in the Russian Federation.

While appreciating their high performance, the head of Cambodian government encouraged all students to keep up their hard work and good relationship with their peers, teachers, locals as well as the authorities at all levels.

It is vital, added Samdech Techo Prime Minister, for the students to keep themselves updated with the latest development of their home country and beyond using critical thinking in order to avoid digesting misinformation.

Starting from June 2016, scholarship students in Russia will receive monthly allowance of US$50 from the Royal Government of Cambodia.

The government will also continue to discuss with Russian counterpart to increase scholarship incentives for Cambodian students there.

The meeting is a priority of Samdech Techo Prime Minister for his two-day working (May 17-18) visit to the Russian Federation to strengthen bilateral and regional friendship.

This is the first visit of Samdech Techo Prime Minister to the Russian Federation in the last 37 years.
