Cambodia’s Successful Conduct of OCA General Assembly Appreciated

Olympic Council of Asia (OCA) has sent a letter of thanks to H.E. Thong Khon, Minister of Tourism and Chairman of the National Olympic Committee of Cambodia (NOCC) for his productive facilitation of the 41st OCA General Assembly.
“Please accept my best personal greetings and I would like to thank you personally and our colleagues in the NOC Cambodia for the successful conduct of the OCA General Assembly in Phnom Penh”, OCA Acting President Mr. Raja Randhir Singh wrote in his letter dated Oct. 10.
“The General Assembly was organised in a very professional manner, the hospitality provided to the delegates were excellent, and the delegates have returned with excellent memories,” continued the OCA acting president.
“I wish you the very best in your endeavours and wish you every success in the forthcoming SEA Games in Cambodia,” he added.
Cambodia hosted the 41st OCA General Assembly from Oct. 1 to 5 in Phnom Penh, and the opening ceremony of the General Assembly took place on Oct. 4 under the presidency of Cambodian Prime Minister Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen.
On the occasion, H.E. Thong Khon also received a highest decoration from OCA honouring his dedication to the Olympic movement.
It was also the recognition of his hard work to promote the Cambodian sports development by hosting various international tournaments, including the forthcoming SEA Games-ASEAN Para Games 2023 and the Asian Youth Games 2029.
