Cave Paintings Discovered in a National Park in Pursat Province

Cambodian rangers have found an area with some cave paintings in Rokat commune, Phnom Kravagn district, Pursat province, according to the Ministry of Environment's news release.

They have recently conducted a research to the area located at Krasaing-Kanam in Central Cardamom Mountain National Park, it pointed out, adding that this area is in the jungle far from the village.

Those cave paintings are believed to date back to more than 3,000 years ago and more scientific research is needed, it underlined.
