CCC Promotes Cambodia’s Investment Potential to Attract U.S. investors

Cambodia Chamber of Commerce (CCC) plans to promote business opportunities and investment potential in Cambodia to American businessmen and investors.

The CCC delegation led by its President Kit Meng is on visit to the U.S. to accompany Prime Minister Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen in the ASEAN-U.S. Special Summit to be held in Washington D.C. on May 12-13.

During their stay in the U.S., the CCC delegation will attend various business events and organise business promotion programmes between the two countries, including Cambodia-U.S. business meetings in New York and Washington D.C.

The business meetings will focus on key issues such as Cambodia-U.S. economic aspects, business opportunities, information technology, construction and franchise business.

In addition, there will be a discussion on cooperation between CCC and the U.S. Chamber of Commerce at the latter’s headquarters in in Washington D.C., and both sides will examine the possibility of signing a memorandum of understanding between the two chambers of commerce.

Cambodia registered US$163.4 million as direct investment from the U.S. in 2021, up from US$33.4 million the previous year.
