A US$2.1 million garment factory will be built in Sangkat Roka Thom, Chbar Mon city, Kampong Speu province, creating 981 jobs for the locals.
The information was shared by the Council for the Development of Cambodia (CDC) in a press release made public this afternoon following its approval of the investment project.
The garment factory is the investment of Yun Ter Garment Co., Ltd., the same source pointed out.
Such investment demonstrates confidence of investors in Cambodia’s macroeconomic, political and social stability as the country is recovering from the COVID-19 pandemic.
