CDC Licenses US$18 Million Investment Projects

The Council for the Development of Cambodia (CDC) has licensed five investment projects worth over US$18 million requested by Cambodian Special Economic Zone Board (CSEZB).

The update was shared recently through a news release from the CSEZB, highlighting that the endorsed investments will create at least 1,072 jobs for the locals.

Located in Svay Rieng province of Cambodia, the investment projects cover the manufacturing of foam, cardboard, wire and cable, steel, and lighting products.

The licensed projects include ZHEJIANG CHISHUN Foam Co. Ltd. of US$2.1 million; XIN CHI XING Packaging Co. Ltd., of US$2.6 million; CHIANG CU Wire and Cable Co. Ltd., of US$3.2 million; Gorgeous Steel Structure (Cambodia) Co. Ltd., of US$6 million, and Wing Art Lighting and Giftware Co. Ltd. of US$4.4 million.
