Today, the country has 19 operating SEZs for investors who are interested in opening factories in the Kingdom, he added.

The minister also highlighted Cambodia's efforts in enhancing business and investment environment through the simplification of bureaucracy, the construction of physical infrastructure (roads, airports, sea ports and SEZs), the development of human resources, and the elaboration and amendment of new laws to support private sector development and strengthen Cambodia's competitiveness.

Mr. Wang Liping thanked H.E. Pan Sorasak for supporting the above-said investment plan and for sharing key information related to investment opportunities in Cambodia. He pledged to further study the possibilities of expanding investment in the Kingdom in contribution to boost the bilateral business relations between the two countries under the One Belt One Road framework.
