H.E. He also congratulated the Cambodian Premier on obtaining the title of "Honorary Professor in International Relations" from the Peking University.

In reply, Samdech Techo Hun Sen spoke highly of the success of the 2nd Belt and Road Forum for International Cooperation, noting that the "Belt and Road" initiative of Chinese President H.E. Xi Jinping had become the common goal of all countries participating in the forum.

Cambodia has since the beginning fully and firmly supported the initiative and the Kingdom has so far benefitted a lot from it, said the Prime Minister.

On the economic cooperation, Samdech Techo Hun Sen wants to see the Chinese companies continue their investment in Cambodia and asked the Chinese government to encourage other Chinese companies to do business in Cambodia by highlighting the Royal Government's reform programme to improve the investment as well as its incentive policies to attract foreign investors.

Samdech Techo Prime Minister also requested the Chinese side to further open its market for Cambodian products, especially the agricultural ones.

There are currently more than 1,000 factories in Cambodia, of which 700 have been invested by Chinese investors.
