Clean Water Treatment Station Construction Project Discussed

A project to construct clean water treatment station worth US$25 million in Phnom Penh has been discussed.

Taking place Wednesday here in Phnom Penh, the discussion was co-chaired by H.E. Khuong Sreng, Governor of Phnom Penh and representatives from Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA).

In the meeting, both sides exchanges views on related issues and resolutions for the potential project.

As planned, the water treatment plant is situated in Cheung Ek area, in the south of Phnom Penh capital and made possible through Japan's grant aid implemented in cooperation with JICA.
