Cambodian Mine Action Centre (CMAC)) and Japan’s Initiative Operation System (IOS) company have entered into an agreement to continue the cooperation in operational evaluation Demining Robot (DRM-5).

The deal was signed between H.E. Heng Ratana, Director General of CMAC, and Mr. Kentaro Imai, a representative of IOS, at the CMAC Phnom Penh headquarters early this week.

According to CMAC, the agreement will last for nine months from Sept. 1, 2022 to May 31, 2023.

Besides, both sides also discussed about cactus growing at CMAC Development Centre in Battambang province.

The following day, Mr. Kentaro Imai and his team paid a field visit to the centre’s pilot cactus nursery
