COVID-19: 116 New Cases, 287 New Recoveries, 9 New Deaths

Daily infections of COVID-19 in Cambodia continue to drop with only 116 cases reported this morning.
According to a press release of the Ministry of Health, these are PCR test results. Among the new cases, 17 were imported and the rest were connected to the Feb. 20 community outbreak.
The tally thus rose to 117,888, including 19,536 imported cases, the same source added.
Besides, the pandemic killed 9 more people (6 of them have not gotten vaccinated), but 287 more patients have recovered; bringing the total death and cured cases to 2,743 and 113,264, respectively.
The first COVID-19 case was detected in Cambodia in late January 2020 in Preah Sihanouk province. The confirmed cases have surged quickly this year due to the Feb. 20 incident.
