COVID-19: 267 New Cases, 311 Recovered Patients Recorded

Cambodia reported 267 new cases of COVID-19 this morning; bringing the total confirmed cases to 116,407.

According to a press release of the Ministry of Health, they are PCR test results. 16 of the new infections were imported and the rest were connected to the Feb. 20 community outbreak.

At the same time, COVID-19 claimed 24 more lives, but 311 more patients have successfully been cured; the total death and cured cases in the Kingdom thus rose to 2,634 and 110,465, respectively.

The first COVID-19 case was detected in Cambodia in late January 2020 in Preah Sihanouk province. The confirmed cases have surged quickly this year due to the Feb. 20 incident.
