COVID-19: 268 New Cases Bring Tally to 115,875

Cambodia this morning reported 268 new cases of COVID-19; bringing the national counts to 115,875, according to a press release of the Ministry of Health.
Of the new infections, 24 were imported and the rest were linked to the Feb. 20 community outbreak, it pointed out, stressing that they are PCR test results.
Meanwhile, the same source added, there were 359 new recoveries, but 25 new deaths; the total cured and death cases in the Kingdom therefore jumped to 109,655 and 2,584, respectively.
The first COVID-19 case was detected in Cambodia in late January 2020 in Preah Sihanouk province. The confirmed cases have surged quickly this year due to the Feb. 20 incident.
