Twenty-nine (29) more patients have successfully been cured from COVID-19 pandemic; bringing the total recovered cases in Cambodia to 133,023, according to a press release of the Ministry of Health made public this morning.
Moreover, no new death was reported; the death toll thus remains at 3,056, the source added.
But at the same time, it added, five new confirmed cases of COVID-19, all of locally transmitted Omicron variant, were registered. The tally now rose to 136,240, including 15,787 Omicron cases (14,437 Omicron community cases).
The first COVID-19 case was detected in Cambodia in late January 2020 in Preah Sihanouk province.
