COVID-19: 34 More Omicron Cases Recorded

Thirty-four (34) more Omicron cases were reported in Cambodia, of which 27 were locally transmitted and the rest were imported, the Ministry of Health pointed out in a press release this morning.
Cambodia’s COVID-19 tally thus jumped to 121,150, including 697 Omicron cases (268 Omicron community cases), the same source added.
At the same time, it underlined, zero COVID-19-related death were recorded for 23 days in a row and 19 more patients have recovered; the death toll and total cured cases stood at 3,015 and 117,286, respectively.
The first COVID-19 case was detected in Cambodia in late January 2020 in Preah Sihanouk province.
