COVID-19: Another Patient Recovered

Another patient has successfully been cured from COVID-19; bringing the total recovered cases in Cambodia to 133,206.

The good news was shared by the Ministry of Health in a press release made public this morning.

At the same time, the ministry reported zero new confirmed case of COVID-19 for 31 days in a row; the tally thus remains at 136,262, of which 21,219 are imported cases while 14,459 are locally transmitted Omicron cases.

Moreover, no new death was recorded in the country; the death toll remains at 3,056.

Despite the success, Prime Minister Samdech Techo Hun Sen has repeatedly appealed to his compatriots to continue to stick to the health preventive measures and to get vaccinated.

The first COVID-19 case was detected in Cambodia in late January 2020 in Preah Sihanouk province.
