COVID-19: Cambodia Reports 30 New Omicron Cases

Cambodia’s COVID-19 tally increased to 120,877 after the detection of 30 new cases.

According to a press release of the Ministry of Health, they are all Omicron cases, of which 23 were locally transmitted and 7 were imported; bringing the total Omicron cases in the Kingdom to 424 (103 Omicron community cases).

Moreover, there were 17 new recoveries and zero new COVID-19-related death for two weeks in a row; the total cured and death cases stood at 117,146 and 3,015, respectively.

The first COVID-19 case was detected in Cambodia in late January 2020 in Preah Sihanouk province.
