COVID-19: More and More Omicron Cases Found in Cambodia

Cambodia recorded 40 new cases of COVID-19, all of Omicron variant, announced the Ministry of Health in a press release made public this morning.
The same source pointed out that of the new infections, 15 were imported and 25 were locally transmitted. The COVID-19 tally in the Kingdom now rose to 121,066, including 613 Omicron cases (214 Omicron community cases).
Meanwhile, 19 more patients have successfully been cured, while zero new COVID-19-related death was reported for 19 days in a row; the total recovered and death cases stood at 117,232 and 3,015, respectively.
The first COVID-19 case was detected in Cambodia in late January 2020 in Preah Sihanouk province.
