COVID-19: New Cases Rise to 57; Tally 121,299

The daily infections of COVID-19 in Cambodia rose to 57, all of Omicron variant, this morning, of which 13 were imported, the Ministry of Health pointed out in a press release.
The tally thus increased to 121,299, including 846 Omicron cases (386 Omicron community cases), it added.
Besides, the ministry reported 65 new recoveries, but zero COVID-19-related death for 26 days in a row; the total cured and death cases stood at 117,428 and 3,015, respectively.
The first COVID-19 case was detected in Cambodia in late January 2020 in Preah Sihanouk province.
