COVID-19: Number of New Infections Rises Slightly to 33

The number of new cases of COVID-19 in Cambodia saw a slight rise to 33 this morning, up from more than 20 cases in the past few days, according to a press release of the Ministry of Health.
The country’s COVID-19 tally thus increased to 135,947, including 15,494 Omicron cases, including 14,153 Omicron community cases.
At the same time, there were 22 new recoveries, and zero new death; the total cured cases and death toll stood at 132,618 and 3,055, respectively.
The first COVID-19 case was detected in Cambodia in late January 2020 in Preah Sihanouk province.
