COVID-19: Only Two New Cases Registered

Cambodia this morning reported only two new cases of COVID-19, all of locally transmitted Omicron variant, said the Ministry of Health in a press release.
The tally now stood at 136,254, including 15,801 Omicron cases (14,451 Omicron community cases), it added.
At the same time, it pointed out, the ministry registered 21 new recoveries; bringing the total cured cases in the country to 133,116.
Moreover, zero new death was reported; the death toll thus remains at 3,056, the source underlined.
The first COVID-19 case was detected in Cambodia in late January 2020 in Preah Sihanouk province.
