COVID-19: Tally Rises to 102,834 with 698 New Cases

Cambodia’s national counts of COVID-19 stood at 102,834 this morning after the detection of 698 new cases, according to the Ministry of Health.

The same source pointed out that of the new infections, 151 were imported and the rest were linked to the Feb. 20 community outbreak.

Besides, the ministry reported 11 new deaths, but 465 new recoveries; the total death and recovered cases in the Kingdom thus rose to 2,089 and 96,275, respectively.

The first COVID-19 case was reported in Cambodia in late January 2020 in Preah Sihanouk province. The confirmed cases have surged quickly this year due to the Feb. 20 incident.
