There were 16 new cases of COVID-19 reported this morning; bringing the tally to 136,060, according to the Ministry of Health’s press release.

Of the new infections, 15,607 are Omicron cases, including 14,264 Omicron community cases.

Meanwhile, 18 other patients have recovered from COVID-19, while zero new death was recorded; the total cured cases and death toll stood at 132,769 and 3,055, respectively.

The first COVID-19 case was detected in Cambodia in late January 2020 in Preah Sihanouk province.
