Zero new COVID-19-related death was registered in Cambodia this morning; the death toll thus remains at 3,049, said a press release of the Ministry of Health.
Meanwhile, it added, up to 379 more patients have successfully been cured; bringing the total recovered cases in the Kingdom to 130,407.
But, the ministry reported 132 new cases of COVID-19, all of Omicron variant, of which 124 were locally transmitted and 8 were imported. The tally now rose to 134,624, including 14,171 Omicron cases (12,911 Omicron community cases).
The first COVID-19 case was detected in Cambodia in late January 2020 in Preah Sihanouk province.
