CRC Donates US$1 Million to Kantha Bopha Children’s Hospitals

Cambodian Red Cross (CRC) has donated US$1 million to Kantha Bopha Children's Hospitals to support their mission of providing free of charge treatment to Cambodian children.

The donation handover ceremony took place here yesterday at the CRC's headquarters in the presence of Samdech Kittiprittbandit Bun Rany Hun Sen, President of CRC; Minister of Health H.E. Mam Bunheng; and Dr. Beat Richner, Founder and President of Kantha Bopha Foundation.

According to Samdech Bun Rany Hun Sen's official Facebook page, the donation was from national and foreign charitable people during the celebration of 153th Anniversary of World Red Cross and Red Crescent Day on May 8, 2016, under the chairmanship of Prime Minister Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen.

Since 2012, CRC has donated US$5 million to Kantha Bopha Children's Hospitals.
