CRDB/CDC Holds a Training on “Cambodia ODA Database”

The Cambodian Rehabilitation and Development Board of the Council for the Development of Cambodia (CRDB/CDC), in collaboration with the National Council for Sustainable Development (NCSD), convened a training on Cambodia ODA Database.

This training, taking place in Siem Reap province on June 20-21, 2019, was aimed to update the development partners' ODA data-entry focal points about the new features of Cambodia ODA database for the upcoming data entry and validation process.

The event attracted in total 65 participants who are senior representatives from CRDB/CDC and NCSD and development partner data-entry focal points.

The main features of the training included: to share experience on the use and modified features of the Cambodia ODA Database; to inform the development partners the timeframe of the 2019 Development Cooperation and Partnerships Report (DCPR) including data entry and validation process; and to demonstrate data entry into the Cambodia ODA Database Climate Change Finance tracking.

This training is a routine activity organised by CRDB/CDC, aiming to promote and ensure high quality of data entry and data validation in the Cambodia ODA Database.

This two-day training workshop was conducted in a right momentum responding to the current fast-changing global and national context of development cooperation and to maintain the progressive role of the Cambodia ODA Database as an integrated national management tool to support the implementation of DCPS (2019-2023).

It is noteworthy that the Cambodia ODA Database reported ODA disbursement in the last decade (2010-2018) in the volume of US$1 billion to US$1.4 billion per year.
