Delegation of Cambodian Environment Ministry Attend Thematic Forums in China

A delegation of the Cambodian Ministry of Environment and General Secretariat of the National Council for Sustainable Development led by H.E. Eang Sophalleth, Secretary of State for Environment, attended today two programmes of the 2nd Belt and Road Forum for International Cooperation in Beijing China.

According to the Ministry of Environment, the two programmes were Thematic Forum on People-to-People Connectivity and Thematic Forum on Green Silk Road.

The delegation was also scheduled to meet with the Chinese Ministry of Natural Resources to discuss their cooperation under the MoU on Maritime Cooperation between the Cambodian Ministry of Environment and the China Maritime Safety Administration signed in 2016.

Twelve programmes, including Policy Connectivity, Financial Connectivity, People-to-People Connectivity, Thing-tank Exchanges, Clean Silk Road, Economic and Trade Cooperation Zone Promotion, Infrastructure Connectivity, Trade Connectivity, Digital Silk Road, Green Silk Road, Silk Road of Innovation, and Sub-national Cooperation.

The delegation will also join the high-level delegation led by Prime Minister Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen in other official programmes of the 2nd Belt and Road Forum for International Cooperation until April 29.
