At the meeting, Deputy Minister Nguyen Thanh Hung shared information about the formulation of legal documents in the field of information security in Vietnam, notably the Law on network information security passed by the National Assembly of Vietnam in 2015. Deputy Minister said that information security was a synchronized issue, from equipment, solutions to human resources. International cooperation also played an important role in ensuring information security.

Deputy Minister emphasized the views of MIC in the field of information security was to create the harmony between development and management, because the strong development of technology besides created risks to the safety and security of information also brought opportunities for social and economic development of the country.

Mr. Hung hoped Palo Alto Networks would partnered with universities of Vietnam in the field of human resources training on information security.

Mr. Steve Redman said the group was very eager to cooperate with Ministry of Information and Communication in the field of information security. Palo Alto Networks is ready to support and share information about threats to information security, attacks in cyberspace of Vietnam that the group recorded via networks; support on human resource training and information relating to management experience, certification standards, product conformity on network information security, ect.
