Egypt signs cooperation deal with South Korea

On the sideline of representing Egypt in SMEs conference in New York, Egypt’s minister of international cooperation Sahar Nassr has signed a declaration of intent for cooperation with South Korea.
The declaration comes in follow-up to the outcome of President Abdel-Fattah al-Sisi’s visit to South Korea in March, and in the context of Egypt’s desire to promote economic cooperation between the two countries in small and medium enterprises, given the interest of both Egypt and Korea in these projects, Nassr said.
Nassr added that the declaration includes encouraging cooperation in trade, investment and technical cooperation areas, as well as organizing training courses for entrepreneurs, giving training to workers, and establishing joint ventures.
The agreement also includes encouraging small and medium-sized companies to participate in commercial fairs in both countries, and promoting trade through the Internet, and exchanging experiences.
She praised economic cooperation with South Korea, adding she hopes that the next period would witness further cooperation with the Korean side.
