Embassy of Japan To Visit 7 High Schools in Cambodia to Promote MEXT Scholarship

The Embassy of Japan will conduct a school visit programme at seven high schools in Cambodia for promoting scholarship of Japan (MEXT Scholarship), according to the embassy's press release AKP received yesterday evening.

In cooperation with the Japan Alumni of Cambodia (JAC), such school visit program began since 2012. It aims to introduce Japan, its culture, and scholarship of Japan to Cambodian students for promoting mutual understanding between Japan and Cambodia through short video screening, lectures by Embassy staff, and questions and answers for approximately one hour and a half.

This year's programme will be participated by the JAC members who studied in Japan and will be conducted at the seven high schools in Kandal, Battambang, and Kampong Cham provinces and Phnom Penh capital where the JAC members graduated.

This programme will start from Nov. 21, 2017 and last until Feb. 5, 2018.
