Environment Minister Discusses with Hollywood Actress on Natural Resource and Biodiversity Preservation

Cambodian Minister of Environment H.E. Say Samal held a discussion with Hollywood’s leading actress Angelina Jolie, President of MJP (Maddox Jolie-Pitt) Foundation, in Siem Reap province on Saturday.

According to the ministry’s news release, the talks mainly focused on a protection and preservation project in Samlaut Multiple Use Area, one of the important homes to biodiversity in the country.

Angelina Jolie has been supporting a conservation project there since the early 2000s.

Actress Angelina Jolie and her family arrived in Cambodia last week for the premiere of her new film “First They Killed My Father”, at the Terrace of the Elephants in Siem Reap provincial city. This event was presided over by His Majesty the King Norodom Sihamoni and Her Majesty the Queen-Mother Norodom Monineath Sihanouk.
