Environment Minister Meets a PhD Candidate from University of London

Cambodia’s Minister of Environment H.E. Say Samal received here yesterday visiting Mr. Neil Lougmlin, a PhD candidate from the University of London, who is conducting his PhD thesis on Cambodia after 1979, according to the Ministry of Environment’s news release.

In the meeting, H.E. Say Samal briefed his guest on the ministry’s achievements in institutional mondernisation in the last four years, including capacity building of officials, institutional structure improvement and other activities for the country’s environmental protection.

H.E. Say Samal also raised the progress in Cambodia’s political and economic sectors since 1979 by highlighting peace, political stability and high economic growth as well as the press freedom in the Kingdom.
